Privacy Policy

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus limited technical data:

• Contact and support forms: your name, email address, phone number (optional), company, subject, message, and the priority or department you select.
• Founding partner applications: your name, email address, company, role, fleet size and message.
• Product support requests: your name, email address, company, the product and a description of the issue.
• Chat assistant: the messages you type into the chat. If you give the assistant your name, email address or phone number so we can follow up, we handle those details like a contact-form inquiry.
• Inquiry context: which of our sites you used, the page that referred you, and any campaign tags (UTM parameters) in the link you followed.
• Technical data: your IP address is used to rate-limit our forms and chat to prevent spam and abuse. Rate-limit records are deleted automatically when the limit window ends. Like most websites, our servers may also record basic request information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) in operational logs used to keep the sites running and secure.

We use this information to:

• respond to your inquiries, support requests and founding partner applications;
• answer your questions through the chat assistant;
• follow up about services you asked us about;
• protect our sites and forms from spam, abuse and security threats; and
• operate, maintain and improve the sites.

We do not sell personal information, rent it, or share it for targeted advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to run the sites. They process personal information only to provide their service to us.

• Anthropic processes chat messages to generate the chat assistant's responses.
• SMTP2GO delivers the email notifications we receive about inquiries.
• Slack delivers internal notifications about inquiries to our team.
• n8n, which we host ourselves, routes founding partner and product support requests.
• PostgreSQL, which we host ourselves, stores the inquiries you send us.

Images and files on cdn.macjediwizard.com are served from our own infrastructure, and the site's fonts are served from our own servers rather than a third-party font service.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of MacJediWizard, our clients or others.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, pixels, or other third-party trackers.

The only cookies these sites set are for administrators who sign in to manage site content: a session cookie and a short-lived sign-in state cookie. Visitors who do not sign in receive no cookies from us.

We keep inquiries (contact, support, founding partner and chat follow-up requests) for up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Chat messages that do not include a follow-up request are not saved in our database.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask any question about this policy, using the contact details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests as that law requires.

Our sites are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
